61st Diabetology Days in Luhačovice

From April 9–12, 2025, the Diabetology Division participated in the 61st Diabetology Days, held in the picturesque town of Luhačovice. The event was organized by the Czech Diabetology Society of the Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyně, in cooperation with Galen Symposion.

We were proud to support this prestigious congress as partners. Our booth showcased products for blood glucose self-monitoring, particularly the Contour system – including the Contour Plus ONE and Contour Plus ELITE glucometers, along with the GlucoContro Online mobile app and web platform. These tools are designed for patients, care partners, and especially for use in professional outpatient settings. Offered free of charge, these solutions are widely appreciated by users for their accuracy, unique features, and user-friendly interface. The growing popularity of the digital tools stems from their clarity, simplicity, and excellent service support, all of which continue to attract strong interest from healthcare professionals.

A part of the congress was also a nursing conference, which provided a hands-on program focused on sharing real-world practice experiences. Promedica supported the participation of numerous nurses from diabetology clinics, significantly contributing to their continued education and professional development.
