First Shoulder Cadaver Course in Athens – SNACE
On 10-11 June, the first shoulder cadaver course was held in sunny Athens for a group of Czech doctors within the international educational project SNACE (Smith&Nephew Atrhoscopy Center of Excellence).
It was a cadaver course, where the doctors were reminded of the approaches in shoulder arthroscopy and tried our Smith&Nephew implants suitable for stabilization of the shoulder and repair of biceps tendon lesions.
The main speaker was Dr. Maciej Pawlak from Rehasport Poland, together with other excellent trainers Dr. Joanna Walecka (Rehasport Poland) and Dr. Zinon Kokkalis (Greece).
The course was attended by doctors from all over the country, including the most prominent departments of teaching hospitals, who in return gave excellent feedback on this exceptional platform for the development and education of surgeons, which we are bringing to you for the first time thanks to Promedica and Smith&Nephew, and which, thanks to cadaver surgery, is an irreplaceable opportunity in shifting the skills of our doctors.
