International Summit of Shoulder Arthroscopy Experts in Dubai

On 24-25 May 2024, Smith+Nephew hosted a major International Shoulder Arthroscopy Expert Summit in Dubai on the theme “The Power Of Biological Healing”.

This prestigious event attracted leading experts from around the world who gathered to discuss the latest trends, innovations and challenges in arthroscopy and biological assisted healing. New techniques for minimally invasive orthopaedics that reduce recovery time and improve patient outcomes were presented.

Specialists shared their experiences with new methods of rotator cuff reconstruction, including the use of biological materials, i.e. the innovative product, the Regeneten bioinductive implant.

The results of recent clinical studies focused on long-term results using biological support for healing were presented. Hands-on workshops and live demonstrations were organised to enable participants to learn new techniques and procedures.

Our doctors had the opportunity to participate in cadaveric surgeries with the assistance of the best international experts.

The summit fostered global collaboration between experts across the world, aiming to improve knowledge and experience sharing. We are happy to have been able to attend this event, which brought a lot of inspiration, innovation, and thus ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
