XIX. Regional Conference “Nejedlý’s Kladno”
On April 17, the traditional conference organized by the Clinical Laboratory of the Regional Hospital Kladno took place. This regional symposium serves as a meeting point for experts in laboratory diagnostics, not only from the Central Bohemian Region but also from across the Czech Republic. Both attendees and speakers included professionals from various regions. The one-day seminar was held in the lecture hall of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Kladno.
This year’s theme was Comprehensive Diagnostics – Collaboration Between the Laboratory and the Clinic. The program featured presentations focused on the direct cooperation between different laboratory specialties and clinical practice. As always, the seminar was impeccably organized by Ing. Luděk Šprongl, Head of the Clinical Laboratory at Kladno Regional Hospital.
More than 80 laboratory professionals and specialists participated in the event. Distinguished speakers included Professor Šterzl (Institute of Endocrinology, Prague), Professor Jabor (IKEM), Associate Professor Klapková (FN Motol), Dr. Verner (Director of Central Laboratories, České Budějovice Hospital), and others.
The diversity of the presentations is exemplified by the following topics:
