XXVIII. CSARIM, Brno

On 16-17 September 2022, the XXVIII. Congress of the Czech Society of Anaesthesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care Medicine and since it was again in the traditional attendance format for three years, it enjoyed a great turnout. The executive president and chairman of the scientific committee of the congress was prof. MUDr. Petr Štourač, Ph.D., MBA, FESAIC, our long-time collaborator, as well as Mgr. Markéta Říhová, MBA, also on the congress committee.

CSARIM is a voluntary professional and scientific organization that brings together physicians, paramedical staff and other personnel involved in anesthesiology, intensive and resuscitation care, algesiology or emergency medicine. The congress was divided into medical and non-medical sections. There was a nationwide interest in this congress from both doctors and nurses. We met many current customers and deepened our awareness of our capabilities.

Promedica was represented at the congress by the Interventional Urology and Venous Therapy division, which presented the Picc and Midline portfolio of permanent venous catheters. Above all, however, it introduced the participants to the portfolios of two foreign manufacturers in the field of venous inputs, Angiodynamics and Plan1Health. With a training model faithfully imitating the human arm, clients were educated on the insertion and care of the inlets.

In addition, Promedica was represented by the Intensive Medicine Division, which presented the offer to potential new customers in its most important portfolio, namely the Sinapi chest suction, the VR closed suction system, central venous catheters and foley catheters with temperature sensor from Biometrix.
