PROMEDICA Group does not tolerate any criminal activity. All companies forming the PROMEDICA Group always carry out their activities in full compliance with all legal and ethical requirements. The PROMEDICA Group consistently ensures that all employees and all persons in charge always fully comply with the legal regulations of the Czech Republic (and in the case of foreign companies belonging to the PROMEDICA Group, the relevant foreign legal regulations) as well as the internal regulations of the individual companies forming the PROMEDICA Group, always drawing consequences from any violation. The PROMEDICA Group fully subscribes to the social interest in the prevention and avoidance of the commission of a crime, as well as the prevention of the consequences of a crime committed, which is a priority of the PROMEDICA Group. The PROMEDICA Group is fully committed to the social responsibility that results from its economic position. The PROMEDICA Group has in place a Criminal Compliance Program, which is a comprehensive system of internal corporate measures and procedures for the prevention, detection and response to possible criminal or unethical acts, and which is part of the corporate culture of all the companies that make up the PROMEDICA Group. In particular, the Criminal Compliance Program includes measures and procedures for the prevention, detection and response to criminal offences. All measures and procedures are considered by the PROMEDICA Group to be adequate, reasonable, effective and sufficient, especially from a practical point of view, and corresponding to the real intensity of the risk threatened. The basic binding internal regulations of the Criminal Compliance Program are the Code and the Code of Ethics. All the companies forming the PROMEDICA Group make every effort in their activities to prevent the commission of an illegal act by the persons referred to in Section 8 of the Act on Criminal Liability of Legal Persons and to avert the consequences of the crime committed.
